Ms. Carmen T. Everall
Carmen is one of the founding committee members
of the First Annual British Columbia Peace Education
Conference held at Simon Fraser University and
the University of British Columbia; a member of
“Co-development Canada – building
partnerships for global justice”; a member
of the Vancouver Women in Film and she is an International
Guardian for The Promise Club in Cairns, Australia
and she organized the Closing Ceremonies of the
World Peace Forum 2006 which launched the Japanese
Peace Boat. She is a member of the Canadian Reiki
Association.
Carmen is the founder of Global Peace Productions,
Inc., established after she was traumatized by
a terrorist attack while vacationing in Bali,
Indonesia in 2002. Carmen is the Executive Producer
for the documentary film "One Voice at a
Time”. She has traveled extensively to conduct
interviews with youths traumatized by these acts
for the film as well as experts on terrorism,
including Senator Douglas Roche - Author, parliamentarian
and diplomat and he was Canada 's Ambassador for
Disarmament; Dr. David Adams – of UNESCO
where he was the Director of the Unit for the
International Year for the Culture of Peace. This
documentary has been in development for two years
and deals with the challenges of youths faced
with global terrorism. Carmen was a Guest on Shaw
Cable's Studio 4 Show with Fanny Kiefer to discuss
her experience and she has spoken at several global
peace conferences.
Carmen coined the term “Global
Peace Actionists” to describe her
transition from an armchair theorist to a person
motivated into action to co-create Global Peace.
Carmen T. Everall has 10 years experience in
Sales and Marketing of Corporate Computer Systems
Solutions, including that of Job Costing and Data
Collection Systems sold to Fortune 500 companies.
Carmen was a consultant to the Financial Investment
Industry beginning in 1993 after her move to B.C.,
Canada. Carmen also successfully established and
operated the West Coast office of a National Personal
Wealth Management Corporation. Alliances were
formed with over 150 professionals such as brokers,
financial planners, accountants, major banks and
lawyers to provide sophisticated investors with
an investment product that offered tax deductions
and tax benefits.
